Step 1: Download E500HXXU1BOG6_E500HODD1BOG3_INS.zip
Step 2: Download Odin and extract the zip file
Step 3: Run Odin3 v3.10.6.exe as an Administrator.
Step 4: Switch off the Galaxy E5 and boot it into Download Mode. To do this, press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together. After you get a warning screen, press Volume Up button.
Step 5: Connect the Galaxy E5 to the computer via the USB cable. In Odin, an �Added!!� message will appear in the Log box on bottom left, and the first box under ID:COM will show a code with blue background.
Step 6: Add the firmware file into Odin. To do this, click on the AP/PDA button on Odin and select the extracted .tar.md5 firmware file.
Step 7: In Odin, make sure that the �Re-Partition� option is disabled while �Auto Reboot� and �F. Reset Time� checkboxes are selected.
Step 8: Click on the Start button in Odin to begin flashing the firmware on the Galaxy E5.
Step 9: After the installation is complete, the Galaxy E5 will reboot automatically. You will get a "PASS" message on Odin after successful installation of the firmware.
Step 10: Unplug the handset from the computer
